Chevron Diecut Challenge Reveal

A while back I issued a challenge in this blog post to do a layout using this chevron diecut, cut with the Silhouette Cameo.

Lori accepted the challenge and it’s finally time for the reveal!  Here is her gorgeous layout! I love how she used the embossed cardstock in the background, and the colour combination is beautiful. What a great idea it was to keep the punched out pieces and attach them with pop dots to add dimension!  She used the Cameo to cut her title as well- isn’t it super pretty?! Lori put a lot of time and care into this layout and it shows- a job well done I say!

And now for my layout.

I used Studio Calico paper for the background and sprinkled it with Mister Hueys. I used Lawn Fawn paper to fill some of the holes of the chevron diecut and Thickers for the title.

If you can’t quite pick out the journaling in the picture, it reads “This trip to the cupcake store was the first time I saw you talk to an imaginary friend. His name was Abugobby.”

If you did a layout using this diecut, feel free to post a link to it here!

OK Lori, it’s your turn to issue the next challenge!
