A peek into my scrappy life.

Autumn

I just love this time of year! Today I am sharing another Fall inspired project. This time, for the October challenge on the Creative Embellishments blog.

The challenge was to take inspiration from the following picture and to distress something.

Since I don’t have any Halloween pictures yet this year, I decided to run with the whole pumpkin/ Fall theme in general. For the distress element I used the reverse stencil technique with Dylusions Spray ink, and random splatters of paint.

2014-10-14 17.28.11I like the way it turned out! Lots of messy fun!  The chipboard pieces (the leaves and title) are all from Creative Embellishments. I painted them with gold Distress Paint and put some gold embossing powder just on the tips.

Thanks for stopping by!
